Curriculum
Overview
To excel as a pharmacy technician, you’ll need strong communication skills, a desire to help others, motivation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while upholding ethical standards. The Pharmacy Technician curriculum teaches you to accurately interpret, fill, and dispense prescriptions; adapt to changes; and provide excellent customer service. You’ll also learn pharmacy calculations, laws and regulations, drug interactions, and procedures like blood glucose testing and immunizations. The curriculum covers community and institutional pharmacy operations, compounding techniques, and medication safety.
