Physician Assistant Admissions

Admissions

The Sullivan University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences offers a unique, 24-month, year-round Master of Science in Physician Assistant program. Annually, our program accepts 50 students to begin the program each July.

The PA program receives applications for admission and applicant credentials exclusively through the College Application Service for Physician Assistants (CASPA), a service of the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA).

The first step on your journey to become a physician assistant is to meet with a member of our admissions team.

Whether you plan to apply tomorrow or years from now, our student-centered Admissions Team will guide you through the admissions process. To get started contact paprogram@sullivan.edu or 502-413-8645.

  • The application cycle opens in late April and closes on July 31st of each calendar year in accordance with CASPA
  • CASPA Application deadline: July 15th of each calendar year (1 year prior to matriculation)
    • Applicants must have submitted their application by this date to be considered for the given cycle.
    • We encourage candidates to apply early within the cycle, well before the deadline to ensure all admissions documents are received and the application is verified in a timely fashion.
  • CASPA Application Verification Deadline: July 31st of each calendar year (1 year prior to matriculation)
    • Applicants must have all admissions documents submitted on their CASPA application and have their application fully verified by this date.

Correspondence throughout the application, interview, and admissions process is done via email. Applicants are encouraged to check their email regularly for status updates.
