BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Anthony B. Tagavi obtained his JD from the University of Kentucky College of Law and his PharmD from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy, both in 2009. He is a licensed attorney with the Kentucky Bar Association and a registered pharmacist under the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy. He has been a practicing pharmacist since 2006 and is currently managing the Kroger Pharmacy in Prospect, KY. Dr. Tagavi is registered as an on-site clinical faculty member for both Sullivan University and the University of Kentucky. As an attorney, he focuses on the fields of medical malpractice, estate planning and regulatory law. 

Dr. Tagavi now serves as a part-time faculty member with Sullivan University as the professor of pharmacy law. He is responsible for the students’ education on state and federal regulatory law, principles of the FDA and DEA and ethical principles in pharmacy practice.
