Curriculum

Overview

The Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting prepares students to earn the CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification by providing a solid foundation in accounting fundamentals and applications. Students will learn to record business transactions using general ledger software, complete a full accounting cycle through a “Practice Set,” design accounting systems, and apply tax law by preparing realistic tax returns for individuals and corporations. The program also includes hands-on experience with payroll systems and a capstone business policy project, where students manage their own company, make key business decisions, and evaluate their outcomes.
