BIOGRAPHY

Erin O'Flaherty Snyder began her nursing career after completing her Bachelors of Science degree from Western Kentucky University in December 2012. The majority of her career has been in OB/Maternity nursing, at various labor and delivery, recovery, and postpartum facilities across the country. She also held a role with the US Army as an educator with the New Parent Support Program. Throughout her experiences, she found a passion in educating others and in 2020 decided to pursue her MSN- on the Nurse Educator track with Chamberlain College of Nursing. While completing her masters, she continued to work at the bedside as a case manager for a local hospice organization, and then returning to her roots as a RN Preceptor at a women's hospital in labor and delivery

Currently, she is the RN Clinical Coordinator here at Sullivan University-Lexington Campus, College of Nursing as well as adjunct instructor. Her leisure activities include spending time with her family, reading, hiking, and aerial silks.
