Biography

Dr. Misty M. Stutz obtained her B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati in 1988 and her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Kentucky in 2002. She has been a practicing community pharmacist for over 25 years.

Dr. Stutz now serves as chair of the Clinical and Administrative Science department, where she works with faculty and administration to provide an exceptional education to students. She also teaches in the Self-Care course as well as the Patient Care Labs. She has published works on self-care and experiential education. She sits on key committees at SUCOP such as curriculum, residency, management and the executive committee. She is a member of KPhA, APhA, ASHP and AACP. She also is on the steering committee for Nonprescriptions Medicine Academy (NMA). She still works part-time at a community pharmacy and is the residency director for a community practice residency sponsored by SUCOP and Walgreens.
