Biography

Dr. Leslie serves as Director of the Center for Health and Wellness, overseeing all health, wellness, and educational activities. She is also co-director of the Fellowship in Pharmacy Practice. Dr. Leslie completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health Sciences (Specialization in Health Promotion) from the University of Louisville. She also holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Education, with a focus in organizational development and program evaluation. Prior to her current position, Dr. Leslie was Program Director for the University of Louisville Health Sciences Center Office of Diversity and Inclusion, overseeing programs related to health equity and diversity in healthcare. In this role, she was responsible for numerous research, grant, curricular, and community engagement initiatives that spanned across academic programs and health science disciplines. She has numerous national conference presentations and publications. She is a member of the American Public Health Association as well as local and national pharmacy organizations.
