Carol Coley was working in a factory and facing a life-and-death illness. When she met a physician and a Certified Medical Assistant who finally identified what her illness was, she was cured and vowed to become a CMA herself. She completed Sullivan’s associate degree in medical assisting and credits Sullivan with getting her set up in her first job through her externship and then the Career Placement Services. She now works for a Fortune 400 company in a job that requires a bachelor degree so she is enrolled in Sullivan’s BS in Interdisciplinary Business Studies Program and will graduate again in December 2016. Carol said she likes how the classes relate to her work and have helped her be successful in her career. She was just awarded a full-tuition scholarship from Sullivan based on an essay she wrote about Sullivan’s impact on her career development.
