LEXINGTON CULINARY STUDENTS COMPETE IN KENTUCKY BEEF COUNCIL GRILLING COMPETITION
During the Summer Carnival at Sullivan University’s Lexington campus on July 9, eight Culinary students were selected to participate in a grilling competition sponsored by the Kentucky Beef Council. The Kentucky Beef Council is a strong supporter of Sullivan’s Culinary program and has sponsored a grilling competition on the Lexington campus for the past several years. Students competed by grilling a pound of cowboy rib eye using the flavor combinations of their choice. The top four students received a combined total of $1,500 from the Kentucky Beef Council. Wade Larson was the first place winner. Thank you to the Kentucky Beef Council for this great opportunity for Sullivan’s students!
