LEXINGTON CELEBRATES NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK

Every year in celebration of National Library Week, the Sullivan University Lexington Library highlights an aspect of the library and the importance of reading. In previous years, the library has created READ posters featuring photos of faculty and students; asked students to speculate on the future of libraries, and examined the history of the library on the Lexington campus.

This year, we are “Face-Booking,” which is a mash-up of the social media site that highlights books with faces. In another twist, all of our “face-books” hide the face of a faculty or staff member at Sullivan’s Lexington campus. Every day during National Library Week, the library will post one or more of its “face-books” on Facebook and invite guesses on who is hiding behind the book.
