Sullivan’s on-campus and online Associate Degree in Marketing & Sales Management introduces you to the art of selling, marketing and advertising, the building blocks of any successful business.
Throughout this program, you will learn why consumers either choose or not choose to purchase products and services, studying the importance of consumer behavior, sales presentations and attention to detail, down to choosing the right color when it comes to packaging a product. Marketing and sales skills are at the heart of every business venture, and consequently, people who have mastered these skills are in high demand.
There are numerous skills or knowledge that you’ll come away with in the marketing program. First, you’ll learn the importance of knowing your target market in terms of their wants and needs. If you don’t understand this, then it’s almost impossible to know how to serve them. Second, you’ll learn customer relationship management. Without building that lasting, personal relationship by applying trust, knowledge of the product, empathy and many other unknowns, you have no customers.
