Professor Josh Simpson earned his BA from Berea College and his MA from Eastern Kentucky University.  Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in the humanities.

Professor Simpson has been teaching at the university-level for well over a decade, and he has been a member of the Sullivan University faculty since 2004.  He has served as chair of the English department since 2011.

Areas of interest: Composition and rhetoric, composition theory, mentoring, literature, literary criticism, philosophy, film studies
