Program of Study

The student's program of student includes the coursework, projects and other educational activities to prepare the student for the successful completion of the doctoral comprehensive examination and for the development, implementation and defense of the doctoral dissertation. The program of student for the Ph.D. in Management is determined largely by the concentration area selected by the student.

Content of Program of Study

A. Cornerstone (16 units)

  • Four graduate courses closely related to: (1) macro-level analysis, such as coursework in organizational theory or strategic management; (2) micro-level of analysis, such as coursework in organizational behavior, leadership, organizational conflict management, or human resource management; (3) research coursework equivalent to Sullivan University's QNT 550 or CSC 550; and (4) coursework either in the concentration area or a root discipline of the concentration area.
