Biography

Dr. Stutz obtained her B.S. in pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati in 1988 and her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Kentucky in 2002. She has been a practicing community pharmacist for over 20 years and has been heavily involved in patient and student education, giving presentations in the community as well as to students. She was intern coordinator for CVS/pharmacy for 5 years and has been precepting pharmacy students for over 18 years, most recently with an Advanced Community Practice Rotation. Awards include District Paragon Award Winner for CVS in 2002 for pharmacy management and community involvement. She has also written and presented CE on OTC drug therapies.

Dr Stutz now serves as faculty at Sullivan University College of Pharmacy where she teaches and coordinates the self-care course and lab and an elective in durable medical equipment. She is the Director of Experiential Education and is responsible for the coordination and outcomes of students on IPPE and APPE rotations. She still works part-time at a community pharmacy and is the residency director for a community practice residency sponsored by SUCOP and an independent pharmacy.
