Biography: Dr. Prasad-Reddy graduated from Creighton University School of Pharmacy & Health Professions in 2006 with honors. After graduation she worked as a clinical staff pharmacist in internal medicine at The University of Illinois @ Chicago Medical Center as well as completed her Masters in Health Communication at Boston University. In 2009 she then pursued residency training and completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at The University of Chicago Medical Center, followed by a PGY2 Specialty Residency in Ambulatory Care through Butler University College of Pharmacy & Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, Indiana.
During her PGY1 training, Dr. Prasad-Reddy was selected to represent the Chicago-land residency programs and travel to China to speak on residency training in The United States. She was also awarded “The Rockefeller Award†by her peers and preceptors for her dedication to pharmacy education and residency training. Dr. Prasad-Reddy is also very interested in international health efforts, and most recently, traveled to Colca Valley, Peru to assist in pharmacy outreach.
Dr. Prasad-Reddy’s clinical site will be in the adult internal medicine clinic at University of Louisville Hospital where she will provide clinical pharmacy services alongside Dr. Barb Jolly.
