WALGREENS RESIDENCY ACCREDITATION
Today, we received the good news that the SUCOP/Walgreens PGY1 Community Pharmacy Residency program has received full accreditation from the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP) Commission on Credentialing. This was based upon an accreditation site visit by ASHP during March 2016, as well as our response to the survey’s findings. The accreditation length is three years.
We extend special thanks to the entire team of talented pharmacy preceptors and residents of Walgreens, including Dr. Misty Stutz (Residency Program Director), for their hard work in this endeavor. We look forward to continued collaborations with Walgreens, as well as our other residency community partners.
