SULLIVAN PROFESSOR JOINS EDITORIAL BOARD OF PRESTIGIOUS MANAGEMENT JOURNAL

Sullivan University Professor of Management Dr. Jerry Sims, who is based at Sullivan’s Lexington campus, has been appointed to the editorial board of the prestigious Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM) Journal.

Dr. Sims joins fellow Sullivan faculty member Dr. James Maxwell, also a professor of management at Sullivan’s Lexington campus and a member of the SAM editorial board.

Dr. Sims’ affiliation with SAM began earlier this year when he and Dr. Maxwell were co-presenter’s of a paper titled “Strategic Human Resource Management Strategies to Increase Return on Investment and Value.”

“Sullivan University is proud to have both Dr. Sims and Dr. Maxwell as faculty members and as esteemed members of the editorial board for the Society for the Advancement of Management Journal,” said Sullivan University Chief Executive Officer Dr. Jay Marr. “These respected faculty members exemplify the excellence of Sullivan University’s Management program.”

Founded in 1912, The Society for the Advancement of Management is the premier organization for professionals in the fields of management, marketing, finance, accounting and entrepreneurship. The SAM Journal has been published for 81 years.
