Sullivan Cruises the Ohio on the Belle of Louisville

Students, faculty and staff from Sullivan University’s Louisville campus headed to the Ohio River wharf on May 31 and boarded the historic Belle of Louisville steamboat for a three-hour cruise. After boarding, passengers explored the different levels of the old steamer. Once the paddle wheel started turning, guests were off down the Ohio River! When the DJ started cranking out music, everyone headed for the hull of the boat for dinner. Julep’s catered the event with a menu that included barbequed pulled chicken and pork, red skin potato salad, baked beans, treats from The Bakery at Sullivan University, and all the fixings! After dinner, some guests chose to take in the beautiful scenery on the top level of the boat, while others danced the night away on the main level. This year’s attendance was 490 passengers – an attendance record!
