LEXINGTON FACULTY, STAFF COMPLETE 2014 ACADEMIC LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

Several faculty and staff members from Sullivan University’s Lexington campus recently completed the 2014 Academic Leadership Academy by the Bluegrass Higher Education Consortium. Sacha Pruitt, Jeff Stone, Adam Evans, Jerry Sims, Ronald Hockin and David Tudor participated in the academy that concluded on Friday, May 16. The academy’s aim is to encourage young faculty to consider a career path in institutional leadership, and the curriculum is designed to provide the participants with a strong basis for a successful future in leadership. Two daylong classes combined with reading suggestions provided the outline to meet the academy’s objectives. Members from the Bluegrass Higher Education Consortium have already started planning next year’s academy.
