Marika Adams, Graduate School & International Admissions, has been with Sullivan University over 16 years. Originally from Michigan, Marika graduated from Albion College with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Management. She began her career with Sullivan University as a High School Admissions Officer, subsequently worked in Non-Traditional Admissions, then an Associate Director of Admissions, later focusing on the High School Admissions market while solely enrolling international and graduate students. Recently, with the encouragement of the university’s direction Marika’s focus is on the growth in Lexington in the Graduate and International Markets.
Working across the admissions spectrum has allowed Marika many opportunities to meet and work with all types from; High School Guidance Counselors, Human Resources, Training departments, non-profit organizations, to local and state government. As a representative in the Admissions Department at Sullivan University her experiences run the gamut both locally and globally.
Marika’s philosophy: “With the variety of graduate school programs available at Sullivan University, I feel it’s important to know each student individually and learn about their career and life expectations. Together we are able to discuss their best education fit to achieve these professional and personal ambitions.”
