Sullivan University’s Master of Science in Human Resource Leadership (MSHRL) program requires 48 credit hours of coursework, is offered fully online, and can reasonably be completed in 18 months (taking two classes per term). Courses in the MSHRL program focus on the six key areas of HR competency specified by the national Society for Human Resource Management organization (SHRM). These include:
- Employee Relations
- Organizational Effectiveness
- Compensation & Benefits
- Organizational Development
- Conflict Resolution.
The curriculum has been certified by SHRM as being in full alignment with their recommended educational curriculum for HR students.
The capstone course, taken during the last term, prepares you to achieve either your Assurance of Learning, PHR or SPHR certification (depending on your level of actual HR work experience), further increasing your marketability after graduation from the program.
