Dr. Tim Swenson

Dr. Tim Swenson is Dean of The School of Accountancy at Sullivan University and Professor of Accounting. Dr. Swenson taught at Sullivan University since 1994. Prior to that, he was a faculty member at several Universities and an Internal Auditor with Capital Holding Corporation, a Fortune 500 holding organization. Dr. Swenson has an extensive background in bank and investment audits. He is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Dr. Swenson holds bachelor's and master's in business administration degrees from Bellarmine University. He holds a doctorate of business administration degree from Argosy University.

Dr. Swenson has jointly published papers on internal audit marketing and motivation. His research interests include financial disclosure, sustainability reporting, shareholder communications, and internal auditing.
