Dr. Terry Kibiloski
PROFESSOR
Dr. Terry Kibiloski has been teaching at Sullivan University since 1991. He served as the Director of Computer Science and the Technology Liaison Chair, and is now a Professor in the College of Business Administration. Prior to teaching with Sullivan University, Terry held previous teaching positions at McKendree College, Lebanon, Illinois; University of Maryland, European division; Embry Riddle University, European division; and City Colleges of Chicago, European division.
Terry holds the Ph.D. in Organization and Management, with a specialization in Leadership, from Capella University, and a Master of Arts in Computer Resource Management, with a concentration in Human Resource Management, from Webster University. Having developed the first online course for Sullivan University, his doctoral research focused on the relationship of the perceived satisfaction and retention of online students to the leadership style of the online instructor. Terry is a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and was a winner in the Microsoft Innovators in Higher Education Challenge competition. He has also successfully passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam, and is a Certified Data Processor (CDP).
Dr. Kibiloski has a wide and varied background in technology and business. He is a retired U. S. Air Force officer with over 20 years operational and management computer experience. Terry conceived, planned, and directed the first user-designed and user-developed automation of over 110 sites worldwide, encompassing computer operations, air traffic control, and electronic maintenance facilities. He planned and managed the first use of satellite communications linking U. S. Air Force bases by satellite. He also planned and directed the first successful Wing Operations Management Information System and was the IS Manager of several computer facilities. Terry has held previous positions as an auditor, computer consultant, business analyst, computer operator, programmer, information technology (IT) manager, and project manager. In addition to being a full-time professor, Terry is also a Web site designer, marketing consultant, business owner, editor, life coach, nationally certified massage therapist, Reiki master, author, and motivational speaker. Terry has noted on many occasions that his secret to being so active in so many areas is never going to work. "I simply do what I love doing."
Dr. Kibiloski is a recognized international editor, self-improvement lecturer, and author. He produced and hosted The Computer Adventure, a weekly radio show to help people get the most from their computers. He was featured on the Louisville Tonight TV show, and was a recurring guest on British and American radio talk shows, as editor/owner of Computer Times ( http://computertimes.com), America's Greatest Computer Journal. Terry is the author of Get The Most From Yourself (http://getthemostfromyourself.com), a unique approach to getting the MOST from your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual self. Get The Most From Yourself articles are featured in Computer Times and are the basis of a seminar/workshop series that has been tailored to fit the audience at businesses, churches, private and government organizations in America and England since 1982.
Terry's passions in life are teaching, life coaching, massage therapy, motivational speaking, traveling, music, and photography. He is a Kentucky Colonel in the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, and is listed in Marquis Who's Who in the South and Southwest, Marquis Who's Who in Science & Engineering, Marquis Who's Who in America, Marquis Who's Who in the World, and in the international Who Will Be Who In The 21st Century.
