Dr. Chad Greenfield

INSTRUCTOR

Dr. Greenfield earned both his BS and PhD in accounting at Virginia Commonwealth University. He currently resides in Western Florida with his wife and children. Prior to returning to school, he spent a decade as a restaurant General Manager and Area Manager for a few different chains. He has worked in public accounting as a taxation specialist and business valuation specialist. In addition, he has been an Accounts Payable Manager for a Fortune 500 Financial company as well as an Accounts Receivable Manager for an Oil Refinery Company (corn and sunflower oil). He left industry in 2001 to pursue a career in academics, and he teaches at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. His research interests include behavioral issues in earnings management, ethics in accounting and accounting education.
