Dr. Jaime Arango
INSTRUCTOR

Arango holds a master of science in Dispute Resolution and a doctor of education is in two content areas--Organizational Leadership and Higher Education Leadership. He also holds certification as a Certified IRB Professional (CIP) and Certified IRB Manager (CIM). His master's work focused on bringing dispute resolution into educational settings, both within the public schools and higher education. He has taught and presented on dispute resolution in clinical fields including speech-language pathology and audiology.
He is an adjunct instructor at Sullivan teaching CMM 521. Full time, he serves as the assistant director of education for human subjects protection at the CITI Program/University of Miami. In his 18 years in higher education, he has also held roles as a research associate, program instructor, coordinator of operations, and a student services specialist. He finds enjoyment in working with students, particularly using distance technology as it brings diverse students together.
In addition to the course he teachers here at Sullivan, he has also taught graduate courses in ethics and legal aspects of human subjects research and technological applications for speech-language pathologists.
