Overview

Students in Sullivan’s Associate of Science in Administrative Office Management program acquire the skills needed to work in a demanding, fast-paced office environment. The students are presented with Office applications from the Microsoft Office Suite, but are also encouraged to be adaptable to any office product presented to them in an employment setting. Critical thinking is emphasized throughout the program. Attention is given to creating properly formatted business letters, memos, reports, agendas and minutes as well as budgets and charts. Organization skills as well as oral and written communication is a fundamental skill emphasized within this degree program. Students gain an understanding of general business organization and practices. Transcription is also emphasized within this degree.

Sullivan University Office Technology program prepares you to work in today’s fast-paced offices. The coursework is intensive and demands you understand how to use computer applications. Critical thinking is encouraged throughout the degree program. Business basics, including basic accounting and management, are instilled. Sullivan University’s Office Technology program also requires you finish a practicum in which you utilize and demonstrate the skills you gain within the classroom.
